Pastor Corey Jones was raised in a Christ-centered home by godly parents who modeled unwavering faith and integrity— principles that have profoundly shaped his life and ministry. While attending Olivet Nazarene University near Chicago, Illinois, he met his wife, Beth Ann, who shares the same deep-rooted spiritual heritage.
Following three years of service in youth ministry, Pastor Corey and Beth Ann relocated to Texas, where he earned a Master's of Theology degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. During this time, Beth Ann also pursued and completed a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. Together, they are the proud parents of two sons, Matthew and Luke.
It was during this season of preparation and growth that Pastor Corey began to sense a deepening call to serve those in overlooked and underserved communities. Though initially planning to plant a church in the suburbs, he and Beth Ann felt a clear redirection from God leading them to the Meadowbrook area of East Fort Worth. There, they were shown a vacant church building where they, alongside a small group of committed individuals, launched a new ministry focused on reaching the broken and the lost with the hope of Christ.
A pivotal moment in Pastor Corey’s spiritual journey occurred during a prayer gathering in Queens, New York, where he experienced a powerful encounter that instilled a lasting vision: a church grounded in prayer. Upon returning to Fort Worth, he began leading the congregation into deeper and more fervent seasons of prayer. In 1999, prayer was formally established as the cornerstone of ministry at Crossroads Tabernacle.
Since then, under Pastor Corey’s leadership, Crossroads has become a place of refuge and transformation—a welcoming sanctuary where individuals and families can encounter the presence, power, and love of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Corey Jones remains steadfast in his commitment to prayer, community outreach, and spiritual renewal. He warmly invites you and your family to join the Crossroads Tabernacle community—a place to grow, to belong, and to call home.
